Pet care experience
Hello everyone! I'm from Kaua'i and I was raised with a family who loves dogs! My grandfather breeder pitbulls and I had a few pups myself! I had a sandy pomeranian named Butts and a shitzu maltese named wizard! Moving here to Oregon a while back just completely broke my heart leaving wizard behind as he was getting older, but my love and joy for animals hasn't changed! I love to run and stay active with them, I'll take them on walks, feed them, and give treat them like a part of my own family with the utmost aloha I can provide making you all feel at ease while in my care! My best friend has a labradoodle named Rufus and I remember the first day I held him in my arms! Now, he's about 70 lbs and can pull his leash so quickly, he'll knock you off your feet if you're not paying attention! He is an amazing dog and I love taking him to the dog park when I can. I don't have any children but taking a dog to the dog park and watching them play makes me feel like thats what a parent would feel for their child! Just complete joy! We booked Kerilyn for 2 nights of house sitting. We were camping, and out of cell-phone range for most of the weekend. Our first night, we were within range until 9:30 pm, and Kerilyn did not come to the house until about 10:30 pm. When she arrived, she could not enter (my fault, she had the wrong security code). We sorted it out and she got the correct code, but did not show up again until after 11:00 pm on the second night, and left before 7am the following day. The dogs did not get walked, and we feel that if she had shown up at a more reasonable time the first night, we could have resolved the issue. We have had other house-sitters from Rover.com and had a great experience with them. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for this one.
Keri was a big help when I needed last minute "puppysitting" for our boxer. She arrives on time and continues to do weekly play dates while I am at work.
Kerilyn is great! She is my "Go to" person anytime I need someone to watch our furbabies! Great communication and my dogs and cats love her!
