Pet care experience
My husband Nick and I love all animals! We have one lovable German Shepherd, Chocolate lab and 2 cats. We live on 5 acres of playful property and are always doing something outdoors and would love to take your dog along on hikes with us and for walks. Our German Shepherd Apahlo loves all dogs and just wants to run around and play. I am a full time nurse in the Emergency room working 3 days a week and my husband works at a rock climbing gym and is home majority of the week. So rest assured someone will always be home with your pup. Small and medium dogs welcome. Bigger dogs, please only calm demeanors. All dogs MUST be potty trained and have basic obedience. What you will need to provide: **Dog food- Bring whatever your dog likes to eat, we can assure you we will not be feeding your dog table scraps or anything that you do not bring without your permission. **Leash/harness **Emergency contact information ***Any medications your pup is taking About my yard: We have a spacious unfenced yard that offers many trails for walks off the property. We also are avid hikers and have many day hikes and small trails a close drive away. We can't wait to meet your dog :)

Keri and Nick are absolutely wonderful ! They are attentive and accommodating to my fur babies and I really appreciate that they only take one dog family at a time which is much less stressful on my boys. I have one lazy bones 8 year old and one needy cat like puppy and they both love it at their home and feel comfortable.
I had a great experience working with Keri. She and Nick took such good care of my dog and made sure he got the exercise and playtime he needs as a 10-month old lab. When we went to pick him up it was clear that he was so comfortable in their home. Keri and Nick and their 5-year old German Shepherd, Apahlo, were a perfect match for my dog, who loves to play with other dogs. I highly recommend Keri and Nick as dogsitters.

We would like to know that your dog is house broken and has basic obedience and is not destructive. Also that they get along with other dogs :) Any type of dog is welcome all the way from small yorkies to pitbulls. We would love to take in puppies as well :) Your dog must get along with cats and not be aggressive towards people. We are willing to accept other animals as well if you need sitting.
A typical day
Both my husband and I are absolute animal lovers who have grown up with animals our whole lives and will take the best care of your best friend. We will make sure they get enough exercise by playing with them in our spacious yard, going on walks on trails just off the property and occasionally hiking when the weather is nice. Where your dog will sleep: We have extra dog beds if you care to not bring your own. Although we recommend bringing one of your pups just for that extra comfort and familiarity. Apahlo and Odie sleep in our room occasionally and in the living room as well. It is really up to your dog. Time spend with your pup: One of us is always home, so there is no need to be worried your dog isn't getting the right attention :)
