I look forward to meeting you! :)... Hi, I'm Kenya! I am a loving wife and mother to two beautiful children (7 year old girl, 4 year old boy) and one fur baby. Creesey who is a Yorkshire Terrier was my last pup who now lives in Las Vegas and visits with us throughout the year. When I went back to school a few years ago for a PhD program I spent long hours away from home studying and conducting research. I thought it was best to have Creesey in a better environment where he could get all the love and attention and my family members agreed to keep him for one year. Well, they fell in love with him and Creesey also fell in love with their other pets. So, they asked to keep him and I obliged. I miss having a dog in the home and I remember how difficult it was for me to find reliable and safe pet care when I traveled away from home. I wanted to know that my pup would be happy, receive great care, and lots of love and attention. So, that is what we offer here at Pals & Paws Resort. Your pups typical vacay day includes several walks or runs around our neighborhood trails and parks, lots of playtime and snuggles with our family, and I just might snap a great photo for your memories (at no cost) since I'm a professional photographer :) WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR DOG’S STAY: -They will be happy, loved and played with along with daily walks and playtime. We have a pet-friendly & comfortable (smoke-free) home with a medium size back yard with turf. If your dog is not house trained we will assist with the method you are using - not a problem! -Photos/videos are sent each day via Rover app, unless you ask for something less frequent. -All reservations are booked via the website and I handle reservations on a first come first serve basis. I will confirm your pups stay once booking is complete. DROP OFF & PICKUP SCHEDULING: Drop off and pick up times are from 6am-6pm. If you require pick up after 6pm the daily rate fee (including Holidays) will apply. If you need extended time, your reservation will be modified with the correct fee. MEET & GREET: I require a meet & greet in person or via phone before pick up or drop off. This is to ensure that you and your pup are comfortable and we discuss all the pertinent details regarding vacay service. If you are dropping off please allow 10-15 minutes for a meet & greet and arrive before dark. You may bring your pups personal belongings to help them feel comfortable (bed, toys, crate, food, etc).
