Pet care experience
My passion for animals came from growing up in a farm. I grew up taking care of chickens, goats, pigs, cows, bunnies, cat and dogs! Even turtles and tortoises. I always had a companion by my side, no matter the breed or species. I am aware this app is mostly for cats and dogs but if you have any additional pets to be looked after, send me a message and we can sort a different rate for them. I will give your companion, your best friend, your little sweet baby angel all the love and care it deserves! My goal is to be a caring, respectful and loving to your pet(s). I want to be able to have a fun time at the park, walking around your neighborhood or even taking a special trip to the dog beach. I am also using this opportunity to have a more active lifestyle, be able to explore different parts of the beautiful San Diego city and become friends with all the dogs around my neighborhood. If you decided I sound like a good fit for you and your family, lets meet up for a cup of coffee and get to know me before you book a service with me. Kenya is an exceptionally kind, communicative professional and quickly became our go-to dog sitter. She sends photos and updates often on how our 3 dogs are doing throughout her stay and reaches out to us with any questions or concerns. She flawlessly follows our complicated feeding and care schedule to a T, and has cared for our dogs through health issues where they need special food or medication. Our dogs love her and are always happy and healthy when we come home. She always leaves the house better than it was when we left, which is hard with our dirty dogs. We completely trust her with their care and can relax during our time away knowing they're in good hands. We are so lucky to have found her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a competent, trust worthy pet and house sitter!
Kenya was incredible with the kids. They loved her and we loved her communications with us throughout the weekend — and the days leading up to her stay coordinating the visit. She is an outstanding sitter!!
Kenya was a life safer. She watched my dogs while I was away and was wonderful. She kept me informed daily and sent any concerns. My dogs just love her. She made sure to feed them their special diet and walked daily. Thank you Kenya!!!
Kenya is fabulous!! I had to travel to Houston to visit my sick father who was just diagnosed with cancer. I’ve been incredibly stressed. The last thing I wanted to worry about was my fur babies while I was away. Kenya provided me with regular updates and pictures to assure me my animals were well cared for. She is a super sweet and lovely young lady who sincerely cares ! In addition to providing daily care and cuddles..... she also went over and above took some lovely professional pictures of my cats and dogs. She printed them and left them for me. Every pet is different. They each have their own personalities and deserve special care and love. I encourage writing a list of things that can help me understand your pets a bit more. I love to keep myself informed for each indivual pet in my care. Some of the things I like to be aware of are the following: known allergies, is the pet taking any medications or behavioral issues during walks or times spent alone. Does your pet have any favorite toys or special treats?Any special food requirements. Special commands? Anything that you can think of that can be of useful information for me, is greatly appreciated. No little detail is unimportant when it comes to taking care of your furbabies!
A typical day
I love to get the pets all ready for a great walk around the park, play with their favorite toys and give them lots of love during our time together. I also may get them to pose for some cute photos to send to you while you are away.

Availability
I am a certified dog bather at a dog grooming salon. I have spent the past 2 years taking care of my hairy, 4 legged clients and ensuring they feel great. I tend to have Thursday through Sundays booked from 8am to 5:30pm. I can become available for weekends if i am given at least a 3 weeks heads up or if you are okay with me coming at a later time to look after your pets, then I can become available after work.
