Pet care experience
Back in my California days, when I lived with my parents we had three cats and we had a blast with them. After several years and a move to Pittsburgh later, my parents adopted a cat and named him Hajime. He's a wonderful and friendly cat that we adore. I always take care of him when my parents are out of town. What I lack in experience, I make up with warmth and affection for cats and other animals as well. I like dogs, but have never owned one, but enjoy their company and the energy and joy they bring to people. And am more than happy to help an owner with watching or taking care of their dog during periods when they are away. I am fast learner and always make sure to ask questions as I know how important it is for all parties to understand what is needed and expected.

Ken always was on time for his shifts. He actually would come in early and help with certain tasks that he did not have to do. Ken was always helpful to others and showed them how to do things. He always answered questions and was helpful to others. He does care about the job and the other associates.
Kenneth loves animals and takes great pride in everything he does. He is very reliable and will always keep the best interest of the owner and animal in mind when caring for pets. He is very personable and he is a great communicator if anything should arise.

I always make sure that the food and water bowls are clean and full of fresh food and water. When it comes to cats, I am very thorough when cleaning the litter box and making sure the floor is swept of any loose litter after a cat is finished. I always make sure the windows and doors are locked so nothing can happen to the pet. I make sure to clean up any unexpected messes and also wear gloves when handling them and make to always wash my hands before doing anything else. I also carefully wrap up any waste into newspaper and place into a small garbage and tightly tie it up before disposal. I always make sure that the pet has a comfortable environment to rest or walk around in and make sure its clean. It's important to me that give a pet as much comfort as possible in their dwelling. Also, due to the continuation of the pandemic, if the pet owner requests me to do so, I will wear a face covering while in the home and when interacting with the owner. Please don’t hesitate to ask or request me to do so. I am fully vaccinated and have received my booster.

A typical day
Lots of walking, enjoying the weather, I like walking long trails myself and. We’ll definitely play at parks and relax. I’m an easygoing and laid back person and I think a dog would enjoy having that type of person keeping them company.

Availability
My availability is wide open five days a week. I am available from anytime in the morning to 5:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and open all day Thursday and Saturday. Exceptions being Wednesdays and Sundays where I would be unavailable. However, I can and am willing to provide any services on Sundays if requested.
