I have been around, owned, and cared for dogs all my life, and I believe that they are not just a pet, but they are a very important part of the family. I absolutely love being around dogs, whether they are a tiny little Yorkie, a Pitbull, or a large Mastiff. I love all dogs regardless of their breed or size! I will make sure to treat your fur baby with the same love and care as I do my own! I recently adopted my most recent fur baby, Parker, in November of 2017. She is a 5 year old, 55lb Shepherd mix that is loving and full of energy! I do have a 6 year old daughter who absolutely loves dogs, enjoys playing with them, and bringing them for walks! I am teaching her how to properly care and handle dogs so I love bringing her with when caring for dogs. If there are any issues with this, please let me know and I will be sure to not allow her to tag along when walking your dog or doing drop-in visits. I want to make sure that you and your pup are as comfortable as possible! »» Dog Walking / Drop-in Visits «« Due to Vegas' extreme summer heats, it is best for walks to be done in the early morning or evenings to avoid burning your pets paws. If walks are needed during the hottest hours of the day, the walk may be shorter than 30 minutes, but I will still find a way to play and spend time with your pup for the entire 30 minutes. Another option that you can do, that I use with my own pup, is dog booties! This helps protects her paws when the ground is extremely hot! **If the option is not available for you to schedule on my calendar (Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays), please contact me and let me know what times you are looking for and I will see what we can work out! »» Dog Boarding «« I would love to have your fur baby as a guest in my home! I understand how much we miss our pets (and vice versa) and worry about them during times we are away for extended periods, so I will make sure to treat your pup the same as I do my very own fur baby by making sure they feel at home and as comfortable as possible and giving them lots of lovin' + exercise! Your pup will get lots of attention as I only allow for ONE family at a time. Also, my own pup will not be at the home during your dog's visit as mine does not get along with other dogs. During your pup's stay, I want them to feel at home and comfortable and have as much fun as possible. If they prefer to just lounge around inside and watch TV, I am perfectly fine with that! Opposite of that, if they prefer the outdoors, we can go on walks/runs, go to the park, or even go to Mount Charleston or Red Rock for some hiking (with your okay, that is!) Throughout your pup's visit, I will make sure to send you as many or as little photo updates as you would like! I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby soon!
