I became a professional petsitter/nanny during my early years of college which fueled my interest to work with animals. Since moving to California post grad school, I have volunteered at the humane society, started helping to train rescue dogs, booked therapy dogs at the local college during exam season, and attended local animal charity events. Pets are the only babies I can have so I treat them with love and care. Kenise's Pet Sitting Experience: With over 12 years of professional experience, I am comfortable with care of all breeds and sizes for pet walking, check-ins and house sitting.. I have had experience caring for large 100+ lbs dogs and as small as 2lbs newborn puppies. Your pet(s) will get several (5+) potty breaks per day, supervised play time, and lots of petting and exercise. I can administer medication at no extra cost (eye drops, ear drops, ointments, tablets, etc.). Have experience with deaf, blind, physically impaired, senior pets, birds, cats, separation anxiety animals, house sitting, newborn kittens/puppies, non spayed/neutered, french bulldogs special care needs, and many more. Feel free to ask me anything. I do everything pawsible to make your furbaby as comfortable if boarding in my home. I send daily photos and videos to keep you updated on the activity of your pet(s). Preparing to Book with Kenise: When booking a stay, please note standard drop-off and pick-up times are mornings (5-9:00am) or evenings (5pm - 9pm) and by appointment only/advance notice if your pick up and drop off time is outside of the operating hours listed above. Advance notice is important to ensure times do not interfere with daily routine and the schedule I maintain. Always let me know in advance if you cannot make it at the appointment time (whether you will be early or late). An ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) notification via text is greatly appreciated when dropping off or picking up. ***Unfortunately, my home will not be a good fit for dogs who do not get along with other dogs*** My home is free roaming where dogs can be dogs. Feeding of dogs is separate. Kenise offers the following to ease with transition: *comfortable giving baths (see rate) *Own an SUV with spacious cargo great for pick-up/drop-off requests (see rate) *Own a bike if your pet is used to running alongside you. Attached basket for small pets. *Have a small pet carrying backpack for easy traveling for pets who may not have the ability to walk too much. *Indoor turf available for pet parents who would like pet to use pee pad alternative *Beds and blankets available and washed after each use. *Bowls available and cleaned after each meal *toys available and cleaned/disinfected daily *Filtered water available *I am Woods University trained and can provide tips and tricks for common pet behavior. *Health enthusiasts/conscious.
