Hello! My name is Kenia and I am 27 years old. I have been a dog walker on Wag for about 6 years, and have done pet & house sitting for family & friends for over 6 years. I have two furbabies myself; a 9 year old kitty who I adopted as a kitten, and a 7 year old female pitlab mix who I adopted as a puppy. I know how important it is to know our babies are in good, loving hands when we’re away from home. I see pets individually & take the time to get to know them. Therefore my services will not be limited to basic care (potty/feeding). I will provide a comfortable environment and a trusting relationship with both pet and pet parent. My partner is also an experienced dog sitter on Rover & for family and friends for over 6 years, and will be with me during pet sitting. We sleep in the van home unless you need me to sleep inside with the pets. At this time, our dog has a knee injury that requires her to be on bed rest with very limited physical activity, so she’ll be kept separate from your pets. Either in the van, yard, or room in your home depending on what you prefer. She’s a good, house trained pup. My partner cares for our dog while I tend to your babies. I am open to any age, size, or breed of dog as well as giving any oral medications if needed. I am very attentive to pets and always like to make sure they have fresh water and are comfortable. Any house rules or requests regarding pet safety will be followed. I will send photos so you can see what your sweet furbabies are up to while you’re away. My phone will always be nearby for communication between pet parent and myself. I have some knowledge on dog & cat body language and behaviors, as well as foods that aren’t safe, so I can be aware and navigate situations safely. I do #VanLife so I have a home on wheels that can benefit pet owners who’d want me on site for house sitting/overnighters.

I don't have any preferences. I would just like to know how the dog reacts to other dogs, situations & people. If they have any problematic behaviors I should know about, as well as how to manage them, please let me know! If your dog needs treats, it would be great if you had them ready for use.
A typical day
I will follow the schedule you provide for your pets, so that even though their parents are away, they can rely on the same routine. Meals will be served right on time, and potty breaks will be given throughout the day. Your pets will get some form of exercise each day, whether that be walks, playing with toys, running in the yard, or brain games. I can take your dog to any nearby dog park or grassy area close to home, depending on what the pet parent prefers. I will make sure walks are very active and give my undivided attention the entire time. At home I will make sure they get affection and cuddles.

I am an independent worker so have a lot of time to give to your pet and I have a dog and cat of my own so tending to animals is an everyday thing for me.
