I cancelled my trip with this sitter with days in advance and she kept all of the money for a full week stay. She never refunded me!

I am so disappointed in our experience. This is our second time using Rover and our first try was wonderful so we were looking forward to using the service again. Unfortunately, due to availability, we had to use a new sitter. When I saw the high star ratings, I thought we were in the clear. I couldn’t be more wrong. Our dog was with Kendra from Thursday night through Sunday. We had a talk with the sitters about the stay and I was reassured that everything would be great. When we picked him up, his bed was bowls were inside his kennel. We put it in the back of your truck, since we were driving back from a road trip (so we didn’t notice the smell until we got home). We took out his bed and put it in his spot in our living room. The smell of urine was soooo overwhelming that I had to throw his bed and kennel away. Then when I went and looked on his kennel there was pee everywhere. Splattered dry pee on the outside (I’m guessing from the sitters dogs, and puddles on pee in the corners on the inside. Never in my the 11 years of having our dog has he peed in his kennel. So he was either locked up the entire time, or the other dogs urinated in there non stop. I had to bathe my dog twice to get the pee smell off of him. I’m not sure what happened over there but I wasn’t told anything but he was great. Overall, not a good experience.
