(Lookalikes are okay - poodles, doodles, maltese, wheatens, westies, etc. ) We require a doggie daycare visit before any overnights (send a message if for some reason this can't work for you - with a phone call and reference we can possibly skip this). *************************************************** I've had a dog for most of the time since 2008 when I found the best rescue puppy ever. I trained her to do all sorts of handy things, like to ring a bell to go outside and to go in a crate when she heard the UPS truck (ok, fine, she did that on her own, but I did teach her to go into a crate when the doorbell rang). Only 7 awesome years later, she was diagnosed with cancer - so then we had a year of experience dealing with a tripawd dog and lots of medication. I'm a pro at giving medicine on time. (I've never given an injection but if you want to teach me, I'm willing to do it.) After she died, we adopted a senior cockapoo. She was cute and cuddly and followed me everywhere until her last day.
