Pet care experience
Hey there! I've taken care of dogs ever since I was a kid. We grew up with a Golden Retriever & two cats and I've been pet sitting for family and friends ever since. 5 years ago I adopted my dog Luna (a mix of Lab, German Shepherd, and Chow). I am a patient, caring, trustworthy, and energetic pet lover. I have a great amount of flexibility as I currently work from home and I am an athlete and marathon runner. I will happily take your dog on a walk or run or stay with your pet for extended hours. I am extremely comfortable around dogs and cats of any breed or size and I have worked with pets with dietary restrictions. I am always happy to keep you updated on your pet and can easily send pictures of texts throughout the visit.

Kendra is extremely response, kind, and naturally connects with animals. I knew my boys would be in good hands after meeting her, and they honestly didn't seem as melancholy when we got home after her care.
Kendra was great! Gladys is a super chill cat, so while I wasn't worried on that front, this was my first experience with Rover. Kendra was very quick to respond both when setting up a meet and greet and while I was traveling for the holiday and wanted updates. She was prepared to help out if my travel plans got derailed too (fortunately did not happen). One day, we faced some technical issues communicating, but she was responsive and quick to get me updates on Gladys when we noticed the problem.
Kendra was absolutely amazing with our two cats-- I have such anxiety when leaving them for a several days, but I received regular updates and Kendra went above and beyond the call of duty to check in on them.

I live near two dog parks. I go on walks and runs myself on a daily basis and the pets will have the ability to do the same. My own dog is be kept separate but are friendly and can be introduced for extra attention. My dog has grown up around others, going to dog parks and visiting family and friends. They love to play and are great with other dogs.

We will go on walks to the local parks and dog parks, along the water, and throughout the shaded neighborhoods. We will play fetch, snuggle, and go on runs together if the dog is up for it.
