Hello fellow Fur Parents! My name is Kendra, I am 33 and a proud pet mom. I DO ACCEPT REQUESTS FOR NON-TRADITIONAL PETS, including snakes, reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats and mice, chickens, and small barnyard animals. Curious if I can watch your critter? I have dedicated my professional life to the compassionate care of domestic and wild animals both hands-on via general care, training, rehabilitation, and basic medical support as well as hands-off via grant writing and advocacy, and I would be delighted to offer my experience and relevant skills to the pet parents in my community. I have experience working as a doctor assistant and receptionist for a local veterinary hospital. I was also their Kennel Manager for over 2 years where I directly cared for the boarding pets and dogs attending the dog day camp. For over 10 years I have provided independent pet care services. I have experience working with wild canids, wildlife rehabilitation, and animal training. Additionally, I have 3+ years administrative experience with non-profit organizations, and 10+ years in customer service.

On a similar note, do they have any limitations, sensitivities, or past traumas that could influence their behavior or health? Do not forget to let your veterinarian know when you will be away and having a pet sitter help with your animal friends. Legally, vet facilities need to receive your authorization for your pet sitter to make decisions for your pet in the event medical attention is required.
A typical day
Depending on a dog's preferences for play as well as the preferences of the client, activities may and have included walks, playing fetch in the backyard, snuggles on the coach, pre-approved play dates with my own dog, Gibson, and more!
