Pet care experience
I have been surrounded by dogs and other animals my whole life. I have had opportunities to sit for both cats and dogs with health issues as well as very lively animals. I have a big heart and a good soul. I will treat your pet with the love and care they deserve. I am able to do frequent visits. I currently have a flexible schedule as a social worker doing in home therapy. I have a 8 pound Chihuahua of my own. She is a rescue and named Pepper. She is very friendly with people and other dogs and just wants to be loved. However, she is terrified of cats. I believe dogs can be very therapeutic which is why I love Rover. Each dog is their own unique individual and they all deserve love and care.

I booked an overnight on the spur of the moment so I went on Rover to have a sitter come to the house. Kendra responded within minutes. We discussed details and set up a visit. Her interactions with my dogs was very kind and my dogs liked her as well. I felt comfort knowing they were well taken care of.
Kendra did a great job walking Waffles! She was on time, professional, sent pics and an update. Waffles liked her very much and got good exercise and playtime. Overall a great experience, and we will be asking her for more walks in the future!
Kendra did an outstanding job taking care of our cat and fish while we were away on vacation. She was easy to get in contact and co-ordinate with for key drop off and orientation to our pets. She dropped in to our apartment to take care of them. My wife and I would absolutely book her again.

I have a fenced front yard but prefer to keep pets on leash until we build trust (if that’s an option). I have a meaningful connection with animals and hope to provide a safe and comfortable environment.

Please let me know if the dog is reactive to any certain stimulus or have issues with people or other dogs or animals. Also, if your dog is ok around smaller dogs as mine is a 7 pound chihuahua and although she gets out of the way, I want to keep her safe as well if at my home.
A typical day
I love taking the dogs (big and little) out on walks to get fresh air and exercise. Pepper (my dog) is very active so we love hiking and the dog park.

I’m currently not working and have a flexible schedule. I sometimes travel on weekends to visit with friends and family. My dog is normally always with me.
