I am a pet lover eager to help you care for your furry, four-legged family members. As the owner of a beautiful adult Golden Retriever whose energy is still that of a puppy, I am a big fan of walks and play. I can work with dogs of all sizes, big and small alike! I raised my Golden from a 7- week old puppy into a happy and healthy 13- year- old adult and would love to help you do the same with your pet. I have lived with a cat as well and have experience caring for one. I love animals, which means I genuinely care for them. I will care for your pet as I do my own dog, with love and careful consideration. I have a part-time job and am finishing my graduate school thesis (I do not have set class times, just have to write on my laptop). This leaves me with a lot of flexibility and time in my schedule to spend with pups big and small. I have a yard with an elecrtic fence. If I am caring for a dog without electric fence training there is also a run that spans a large portion of my yard. Inside, I have air conditioning for hot days, and carpet bridges for older dogs whose paws may slip on tiled or hardwood floors. During thunderstorms, I sleep next to my dog on the floor to keep him calm, I would do the same with any pet I am caring for. I feed my dog on a schedule and would have no problem caring for an animal that is used to a schedule, I have also cared for dogs who always have kibble in their bowl so they can eat when hungary and likewise have no problem with that. I have a pet first aid kit in my home and another in my car, should the need arise. As my dog has aged, I have found this useful and am comfortable dealing with minor injuries, obviously I would alert the pet parent and veterinarian for any and all injuries.
