Pet care experience
I have a passion for dogs and cats! I am an ice hockey referee who is a former vet-tech and volunteer large mammal keeper at the Dallas Zoo. I have a B.S. in Zoology and a passion for animal behavior and nutrition. When I am not at the rink, I enjoy rollerblading my rescue chocolate lab Cooper around Lake Harriet and talking with my rescue Bengal, Bonkers (yes, she talks!) about her day. Whether it’s through a walk, a game of toss or a gentle belly rub, I would love the opportunity to be a trustworthy companion for your dog or cat, giving you peace of mind while you are at work or away. I am punctual, responsible and honest. I am a great listener, attentive to details and follow instructions closely so that I am able to provide the care for your dog or cat that you expect. If you would like to consider me for dog walking, dog or cat drop-in visits or dog boarding, I will gladly set up a “Meet and Greet” which is perfect way to ensure that I am right fit to provide exceptional care to your dog or cat when you are away.

Kendall has been amazing with Vida throughout the dozens of walks she’s taken her on. I feel very reassured leaving Vida behind when I go to work knowing that Kendall is scheduled to visit her midday. Vida loves Kendall, and as an added bonus, sometimes Kendall’s chocolate lab Cooper joins! Vida is so excited when this happens. Kendall sends awesome picture updates and a very thorough Rover card to keep me filled in on how much more fun they’re having than I am working. Even though Vida is now moving to a new neighborhood farther away from Kendall, I know we will be back for Kendall’s boarding services. Vida will miss her!!

Could not ask for a better dog walker and pet sitter. She’s so good I feel tempted to give bad reviews to keep the competition away so we can keep her all to ourselves! If you need a knowledgeable and skilled dog walker who does well with rescues and reactive dogs, multiple dogs, and just pets overall she’s your person. Just please don’t steal her from us ?

There are a lot of walking options in the area, including lake trails, parks and neighborhoods. I will gladly take your dog to a favorite place or, if you prefer, we can stay in the yard and play fetch! I am flexible with what will make your dog and family happiest!
