Pet care experience
Hello, pet owners! I have owned pets my entire life, and I consider myself to have an innate love for animals! I am the proud mom of a 5-year-old Goldendoodle named Lola. Throughout college, I acted as multiple families’ pet sitter for 5+ years. I have experience with dogs of all sizes— I grew up with a Great Dane—and cats! For a couple years during early college, I even acted as a volunteer at the local humane society, as well as the local animal shelter, as a dog walker and animal socializer. This allowed me to interact with various breeds, sizes, and ages of dogs and cats. I very much enjoy the company of dogs and cats, and would love to exercise with (run or walk), cuddle with (gimme all the cuddles), and keep your pets company!

Kendal was wonderful! Scheduled her for two walks very last minute and she was able to fit Mabel and I in to her schedule. She took great care of Mabel. Look forward to more walks with Kendal in the future.
Kendal is fantastic! After scrolling through tons of Rover profiles, we are so glad we chose Kendal for our first Rover experience. She sent us detailed reports and pictures after every walk, and was always very responsive and punctual. We were looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and comfortable with all kind of dogs and dog personalities (our pup can be a little energetic at times), and we are so glad we found Kendal!
Kendal is very experienced, great with Caesar and very prompt with attendance. Would definitely recommend as a great dog walker and carer.
I was able to book Kendal short notice when I really needed a walker for my pup. She really came through and I think my dog really likes her :)

Having a skiddish pup of my own, it’s always helpful to know if a dog is shy or has some type of anxiety. It is also helpful to know how your pup reacts around other pups, so I can ensure safety on walks!
A typical day
I live in Shirlington, so I love to walk the trails to Shirlington, as well as Four Mile Run. I’d be happy to take your pup to the dog park, if that’s something you’re interested in/comfortable with. If you have a yard, I can play fetch with the best of them! Wherever your pup likes to go, I’ll go!

I am a teacher, so I pretty much have open availability throughout the summer (with a couple exceptions due to vacations). Unfortunately, I cannot board due to my own pup.
