I love dogs for so many reasons. Dogs are wonderful animals who bring joy and companionship. Dogs deserve love and safety throughout their lives. Dogs can bring happiness to people who are depressed or have terminal illnesses. Dogs have the ability to fulfill your life with laughter and joy. I have had dogs most of my life. Dogs are family members and are to be treated as such. In the past I spent time helping out at a veterinary clinic and gained experience observing animals as they woke from anaesthesia. Beyond dogs, I have experience for cats and birds (my friends own five cats and two birds — I watch all of them when they are on vacation)! I have been taking care of these animals for over 25 years. I would describe myself as caring, compassionate and loving. I truly love the company of dogs — spending time with dogs brings warmth to my heart. Each dog in my care will be treated as if they were my own.
