Hello there! My name is Ken and not only have I worked with dogs my whole life, but I do have professional experience. Currently, I work at the AZ Small Dog Rescue and used to work at HALO Animal Rescue. I adore both of these facilities and don’t intend on leaving the animal welfare field anytime soon. As a kennel tech at AZ small dog rescue, I cherish my time taking care of our animals as well as enriching them. By this, I mean I put aside time to get each and every dog out of their kennel and into a big, open play yard so they can really feel like a dog- even if they are in a rescue. Rescue staff know how hard shelter life can be for dogs, so we want to make it as comfortable as possibly until they’re adopted.
