Pet care experience
My love for animals is what sparked me to enter the wonderful world of pet sitting. Most of my life I was near dogs and cats, so I understand how pets are important, valued, members of the family. I personally owned a Yorkshire Terrier for ten years and lived with multiple breeds of cats for a few years as well. I have experience in caring for kittens/puppies to older furry friends, and am confident in providing feeding, walking, and playing services. In addition to my own pet, I've taken care of family and friend's pets on numerous occasions and have been on Rover for over two years.

Kelsie did a great job!
Kelsie was terrific! We'd only had our cat for a few weeks and had to go on a weeklong trip. We were nervous about leaving her, but Kelsie made us feel reassured that our kitty would be in good, caring hands. We loved getting pictures and updates. We were able to have peace of mind while we traveled. She even took care of a mini disaster when our cat's food ended up on the floor and some ants took over. We highly recommend Kelsie to care for your pets :)!

A typical drop in cat service or dog walking service is 30 minutes. For the dog walking service, I attach the harness and leash, walk at least one mile, pick up any droppings while on the walk, and remove harness and leash before leaving. For the cat service, I feed, clean the litter, and play with cats (each cat is different so I tailor my visits along the specific quirks and personalities of the client).

A typical day
Mentally and physically stimulating your pet would be a fun and active way to interact. Playing with toys and taking walks on walking trails, around the neighborhood, or at the park are things I'd normally do.

Availability
I am available on Mondays (6pm - 10pm), Tuesdays (6pm - 10:00pm), Wednesdays (6pm - 10:00pm), Thursdays (6pm - 10:00pm), Fridays (5pm - 10:00pm), Saturdays (9am - 10:00 pm), Sundays (12:00pm - 10:00pm) and will do my best to help with any last minute needs if necessary. I live in SLO but am able to also assist clients who live within 10 miles of the area.
