Pet care experience
I am an energetic elementary art teacher for students with special needs, and I love children and animals. Since I am a teacher I would only be available in the afternoons after 3pm and weekends anytime! I am also a working artist and if you check out some of my Rover photos you will see dog portrait comissions for serveral local dog owners as well as clients I have dog watched prior to using Rover! I am single and I have no children to worry about. Since I love dogs I figured I might as well do something involving dogs that is productive to fill my spare time now that my graduate school work is over. More you may like to know about me is that I am very active and I love hiking and running. I have been a runner my whole life and I miss running with my dog Sammy! He was my favorite running companion. Unfortunately, he passed away of old age a few years back. Him and I used to go on many trail runs together throughout the years. I trained my dog growing up and I am very patient with animals. I have watched dogs for friends, family, and strangers! I would love to watch and play with other dogs while helping someone out! If you want your dog to get good exercise and burn off some energy—I’m your gal! Of course senior dogs might not need to burn off as much energy, but I don’t mind walking/watching them as well! :)

Kelsie was fantastic! We previously booked her with our older dog Audrey, and had a great experience, so we followed up and booked her to watch our puppy Peggy as well. Peggy came back healthy, and happy! Kelsie was super easy to communicate with and was flexible when we were a little late getting back to town. She sent lots of pictures and kept us in the loop with how she was behaving (including letting us know of some bad puppy behaviors like checking out food on the counter!) We would love to have her watch our dogs again in the future.
Had Kelsie watch my dog and cat for a few days while I was out of town. She was great sending pictures and updates every day and night, going on walks and keeping them both company. She does an amazing job of making you feel at ease knowing your little fur friends are safe.
Kelsie is awesome. She's been watching my doberman for 3 years now. I wouldn't want anyone else watching my dog. She always gives updates and sends pictures and let's me know how he is doing. Completely puts my mind at ease. If you need a dog sitter there is no one better.
Kelsie took good care of our little Whiskey for almost two weeks while we traveled. They hit it off right away! Kelsie clearly loves having a dog around, and she had no problem accommodating his special need for an indoor puppy pad. She sent sweet photo updates, gave him a bath when he got messy, and sent us back home with a relaxed and happy little guy. We would definitely trust Kelsie to take care of Whiskey in the future.

I don’t discriminate! I love all dogs big and small! I would like to know if the dog is house broken, and is up to date on medication and such (no fleas please!). Also, I would like to know if the dog is friendly around people and other dogs, so that if we do go for walks I can kindly warn others who may approach the dog. I am accommodating to allergies—please let me know if your pup has any so that I can assure safety!!
A typical day
I live in the west side of buffalo, so we would walk/run around the area or go to the dog park near by. My back yard is a decent size and doesn’t have a gate, but I normally walk dogs morning afternoon and night! If I was watching the dog for a longer period of time we might go elsewhere such as hiking areas in the southtowns! I have often take dogs to the dog park as well as dog friendly patios for coffee.
