Pet care experience
I've had dogs in my home for over 20 years, so have lots of experience walking, jogging with, training, caring for and loving them. My last dog — a German Shepherd named Kenya — had a condition called Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency which also gave me 12 years of experience caring for a dog with very stringent and unique dietary needs. I've dog/puppy-sat for several friends & family members over the years, as well as had many repeat customers on Rover, so am comfortable with many different breeds and temperaments. I work full time but on the weekends am very active and do enjoy getting out of the apartment frequently, so definitely welcome the company of a cute furry companion these days. I do have flexibility on Fridays and Mondays to work from home as well so can care for your dog over a long weekend.

Kelsey is awesome! My cat is very shy so I was very worried to leave him with a stranger for a week. However, within a day he was out playing with her. Kelsey has great energy and sent me the cutest pictures. I will definitely book again with her.
Kelsey was great! She's so kind and responsive, and since she works from home she gets to be with your pup all day.

Kelsey is a fun, caring and dependable dog sitter--one of the best we've ever had the pleasure of watching our pup, Cali. Cali is a 65 pound rescue dog with lots of energy and Kelsey always takes extremely good care of her when we are away for both brief and long periods of time. We never have to worry while Kelsey is watching Cali! She keeps us posted with photos of her and Cali and provides updates such as when Cali has been fed, walked, taken to the park, given medicine, etc. We highly recommend her for dog sitting, dog walking and general pup care.

Most importantly, I'd ask to be filled in on any special needs relating to personality, health care and/or feeding — and knowledge of particular behavioral or personality quirks is also a plus. I'd also love to know how they handle on leash/harness and how the dog tolerates other people/animals out and about on walks. I don't have any breed preferences — I love dogs of all colors, shapes and sizes!
A typical day
We will go on luxurious walks to nearby parks and dog parks and maybe even a jog if the mood strikes that day! If your dog is older or enjoys more down time, I have no problem just hanging on the couch.

My partner and I are huge dog people but don’t currently have one of our own. We both have fairly demanding jobs but love having furry guests on the weekends!
