Hi, I'm Kelsey! I've been an animal lover all of my life and have had cats or dogs throughout my life. Growing up I would read about dog breeds and the different breed groups. I'm knowledgeable about many breeds including their needs and behaviors. I've been working with Rover for a few years and have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds. I have 3 dogs, a beagle, boxer mix and I recently added a basset hound puppy. Lola, the beagle is 11 years old has a mind of her own and needs to smell everything. Rigley, the boxer mix is 8 years old and has a lot of energy and loves to play fetch. Gypsy is the basset hound. She is very outgoing and loves playing with other dogs. All of my dogs are very friendly and socialized around other dogs, and rigley and gypsy are playful with dogs of all sizes. I'm a firm believer that dogs who get exercise and enrichment are better behaved dogs. A tired pup is a happy pup! I make an effort to get my dogs out at least a few times a week and take the dogs I'm watching along. I like taking them hiking and to the dog park and try to spend time outside with them often. I have experience with dogs who have health issues and giving them oral medication. I work weekdays but try to do different activites with my dogs in the evenings and weekends. My work schedule is flexible to where I can stop at home during the day for potty breaks. During the weekends I spend most of my time at home and can provide plenty of attention to your pets.
