Pet care experience
I am certified by the American Red Cross for Pet CPR + First Aid and insured. Feel free to ask for either certificate. I grew up in a house with 2 Australian Shepherds and 3 cats. So juggling a lot of animals is a specialty. I am currently a part-time mom for two shelter pups of my own, a shepherd mix (Baby) and a chihuahua/pit mix (Bubs). Baby is a rescue pup and there have been barriers to jump over but we have jumped them! Their dad and I are proud of how far she has come since adopting her 6 years ago. My pups are the light of my life and I'm excited to meet the light in yours!
Reviews
Kelsey is so awesome! She has taken care of our cat a few times now and she's always so great and our kitty is happy. She even checked to see if our garbage was picked up and moved our cans back for us without us asking.
Kelsey took good care of my two cats. She did regularly scheduled check ins and spent time with the cats each day. I was confident leaving my cats in Kelsey’s care. I’ll definitely book Kelsey again.
Kelsey did great with our very shy dog! Will absolutely have her back.
Always a privilege to have Kelsey take care of our little guy!!

House Sitting I stay overnight when house sitting. I believe that's the easiest way to care for them and keep them comfortable. Daily walks, feeding, plenty of cuddles. I typically ask the max amount of time your pup(s) can be alone in case I need to attend to something. I also currently work at a brewery where my shifts typically run around 6-7 hours, typically at night. As for your home, I operate as if there's a nanny cam in every room, I'm respectful and clean. I love taking photos and will nearly bother you with updates. ☺️
Information Kelsey U. would like to know about your pet
Let me know about any special needs or quirks so I can accommodate them to the best of my ability. I have experience with rescue dogs. I adopted my shepherd mix, Baby, 5 years ago and we've made great strides socializing her and calming her anxieties.
A typical day
I'm a pretty active person coming from long hours in event planning/restaurants. I wake up early and like to get going. Take the dogs to the dog park or on a good, long walk. My dogs and I love going down to Sellwood Riverfront Park and walking up and down the beach. House Sitting I typically stay overnight when house sitting. Availability
I work in the restaurant industry but living in Portland, the city of dogs, I can't help but want to care for every one of them. Although I am part-time, your pet will always be at the top of my list. Waking up early, staying up late, whatever is needed. I currently work nights at a brewery in Portland so I am typically unavailable between 2 and 11pm for drop in visits. But I'm happy to discuss late night visits on a per client basis. My typical work schedule is as follows: I am off Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday I work 2-9:30 Fri-Sun I work 4-9. As for house sitting, I stay overnight and unless otherwise at work, I'll be with your pup!
