Dogs are family! Very Active

Pet care experience

I love everything about the outdoors, and my beloved dog Rosie is a perfect adventure buddy. We enjoy hiking, camping, clicker/positive training, having doggy and friend play dates, and endless snuggles and belly rubs. I am very fortunate to have grown up with very loyal dog best friends since birth. Our first dog, Jake, and I were best friends, and we did everything together from endless walks and fetch, reading books on top of my "horse", playing dress up and having tea parties. I was excited to take on the responsibility of feeding Jake every morning at a very young age. After Jake died at 9 years old, we then adopted Max, who is still living the good life at 14 years old. He struggles, but we want to make him as comfortable as possible with the precious time we have left with him. Both Max and Jake are forever part of our family, and they always came with us on many camping, hiking, and lake adventures. My mom and I worked together to train Max starting from the basics and eventually teaching him the boundaries of our yard. Our neighbors still do not believe us when we say we do not have an electric fence! I now have my own dog, Rosie, who I rescued and have been training from day one. I have experience caring for our family dogs, my own dog, neighbors’ dogs on vacation, and a service dog for a client who was unable to handle him at that particular job. I would love to have a meet-and-greet with your dog to make sure we are the right match for each other. I will have a survey of questions to make sure our time together is consistent with how you treat your dog. Every dog is different, so I want to make sure I have as much information as possible so it is a smooth transition for you and your dog so you and they will be at ease from the beginning! I look forward to meeting and playing with your furry friend!

Kelsey was awesome with taking care of our 2 older dogs while we were away for a few days. She came over and introduced herself to our family and our dogs and was so easy to work with in terms of coordinating multiple doggie check-ins. I'm sure the dogs enjoyed more belly rubs and attention! We felt very comfortable with having Kelsey in our home - even to have another person checking on the house while gone was nice. The best part...we arrived home and our dogs were home - no pick up from a kennel, no scheduling a time to pick them up and cart them across town and the dogs were tired and on their dog beds! Having older dogs, the kennel can be too much and they love to stay in their environment so this was the opportunity to make sure they were happy!

Kelsey and her dog Rosie are an amazing team. They are both kind, calm, and thoughtful. Kelsey knows how to care for all kinds of dogs, and as a bonus is also an experienced trainer! She always uses positive treatment and training. I would definitely recommend Kelsey (and Rosie) for giving your dogs lots of calm, loving care!

Kelsey shares a beautiful bond with her dog and the dogs she meets. She has worked with service dogs and is fully in her element when doing so. I would go to Kelsey with advice on training and interacting with my dog, and I would absolutely trust her to care for any pup of mine.

Kelsey is great with dogs, she has her own pup she loves and always cares for. She's not shy of putting all of her doggly activities on social media for everyone to see. Her dog is calm and loving which is a testament to her ability to raise a dog right. If I had a dog I'd be sure to have her watching it!
