I am a 26 year old graduate student, who loves dogs of any breed. I am a very active, caring, and detail-oriented person. I have lived with dogs as far back as I can remember! I recently moved out of my parent's house, where we co-owned a big, beautiful, goofy, and energetic mutt. I still enjoy walking him during my visits to my parent's. As well, not too long ago we had to make the hard decision to say goodbye to my best friend Casey, a Shepherd-Border Collie mix, who was 15 years old. I miss her and miss having dogs in general, so caring for others' dogs is really nice. As for my home, I live in the city with my partner in an older house with wood floors (easy to clean!). Dogs can have free-range of the house (other than basement which is closed off) if the owner desires. We have a backyard, which has been recently full-fenced (not shown in pictures) so we can play with the dog(s) in the backyard. I like to take dogs for runs, but I am also good with moving slooowly with senior dogs. Our furniture is old so we don't mind if the dog likes to sit on a chair or couch. Some days I work 8-4 so will not always be able to supervise the dogs during the day, however my boyfriend works remotely (from home) and agrees to dogsit when I am absent (he's a dog-loving guy!). I can dog sit for extended periods of time when necessary. We would prefer to not travel with the dog in our car very often unless it is a non-shedding breed, or some other accommodation is agreed upon (such as a blanket/cover for the seat). I've also had the pleasure of sitting dogs (and cats) at the owner's house and am comfortable staying overnight if needed. If you have any questions please ask!
