Pet care experience
I am a Western grad who is working with the City of Bellingham currently. I’m trying to make some extra money, get my steps in and meet and play with animals! I’m an Environmental Science major with a love for the outdoors and animals and I’d love to meet as many furry friends as possible. I have a car so I have reliable transportation to get to your home as well as take the dog anywhere as needed or take them to the park if wanted. I have been petsitting, housesitting and babysitting since I was old enough to. I grew up with cats and have always had a love for dogs and all animals. My college roommate had a dog and we are the best of friends. I lived with a dog and basically co parented for two years while living with her. So I know how to care for a dog and what it’s like to live with one. I used to take her dog to the dog park every day after class while my roommate was at work.

Kelsey was fantastic with my noisy, rambunctious boy. She checked in with me while I was gone, sent pictures, and even took him to the creek for a splash which is his favorite thing. 100% would trust her to care for my dog again in the future.
Kelsey was great with my Miniture Australian Shepard! She is very caring and good at communicating. My dog just loved her and she was awesome at both playing and caring for him. I would definitely recommend Kelsey for any doggie or pet needs. I’ll hire her again!
Kelsey is very compassionate and fun-loving! She watches my dog regularly when I go to class and my dog is always happy and sleep when I get home because of how much fun she had! I will definitely be using Kelsey as a dog sitter in the future.
Kelsey is great! She is responsible, mature and so dependable. I trust her with my animals completely. She clearly loves animals and they love her back. Even the cats follow her around and one of them doesn't care for anybody. The best part is she doesn't just take care of their needs, she plays with them and provides stimulation in addition to ensuring their health is taken care of. Love her!

I unfortunately have two cats at home who are not dog friendly so I can’t provide care at my home. However I am very responsible and trustworthy and am capable of visiting homes and caring for pets in your home or providing walks.

I have no preferences in breeds although I have always had a soft spot for large dogs. I’d like to know the activity level of the dog and how well they are with people and other dogs. And if it’s possible to take the dog to parks I’d like to know how well they are with recall and in cars.
A typical day
I can go on walks around the block or take the dogs to parks. I always enjoyed taking dogs for a car ride or a pup cup because it makes it fun for the dog.

I currently have time on the weekends and mornings during the week. I generally have shifts from afternoon to late at night. I’m open to morning walks, and check ins.
