Thank you! *Effective for bookings May 1 and after, I am implementing a new price structure to reflect certification in pet CPR and First Aid completed in April 2023. *I typically have my availability open in 2 month blocks. If you would like to schedule farther in advance, please message me and we can chat! *I require meet & greets for all dog care and housesitting. ------------------------------------------------------ I’m a life-long pet owner and grew up in a home where dogs are family members. Helping with my family’s German Shepherd rescue organization, as well as volunteering for rescues in every city I've lived in, has given me years of foster and rescue experience, so I am comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I’m currently working on my PhD and I work in health care, so I don’t have time for a dog of my own right now; instead, I spend study breaks snuggling with my cat, Milo. I look forward to caring for your pets as if they were my own during my free time, too!

I am good at reading pets’ body language, so I will give your pets TLC or respect their space - whatever they need! I am also detail-orientated, so I will be careful to follow all instructions you leave for me. I know how important that is for peace of mind when you are away from home and your pet. Regarding COVID-19 - I am fully vaccinated, including boosters, and I test frequently for work.

I'd like to know about their temperament and energy levels, including any behavioral issues (e.g., reactivity, food guarding, general mischief). I do not currently provide care for reactive dogs. Please also provide detailed information about their feeding schedule and daily routines (e.g., crate trained? any areas off limits? commands they're familiar with?). Last, what is important for keeping them happy? Favorite toys? Extra cuddles? Let me know! *I reserve the right to request that Rover assign you a new sitter at any time if you do not disclose reactivity prior to booking. Similarly, I will provide the care discussed prior to booking. If extensive changes are requested after the booking is made, I may also request Rover assign you a new sitter.*

I tailor my services to your pet(s), so it’s best for us to have a conversation about their needs to ensure they’re happy and you’re comfortable while you’re away. For walks, I tend to walk around the neighborhood most, but I also frequent City Park and Sloan’s Lake. I’m happy to do either with your pet - it’s up to you.

Availability
I work in clinic M-F 8-5. Depending on where you are located, I may be able to provide lunchtime potty breaks during housesitting bookings. My weekend schedule is flexible. I will do my best to maintain your pets' usual routine, depending on my work schedule and weather permitting.
