My Background as a dog caregiver: My parents bread & trained coon hounds. Now I have my own fur babies, Leo and Lilly. Leo has been with me for 6 years. Leo struggled with separation anxiety, but with some research and positive inforced training, he is a happy pup! Lilly is a new addition to my family. She’s a sassy energetic pup. So I can care for the most laid back to hyper dog. I have experience in cat care as well, if you're looking for a purrfect sitter.

Kelsey is awesome! She's always available when we need her and very dependable and reliable. We feel so at ease when we go away for a brief vacation or event, which is super important to us...not only so we can have a worry free time, but more importantly that our fur babies are well taken care of. We will keep rebooking Kelsey for as long as she wishes to keep working for Rover!!!
Kelsey was wonderful with our cats, checking in on them on time and making sure they were fed and happy. She updated us constantly and made sure that we were comfortable with how they were being taken care of. We will definitely look to book with Kelsey again for future trips!

I will always make sure your dog is on a leash. Preferably in a harness as well. Safety first! We don’t want a lost dog. I am happy to work on training and anything else you need consistency with. As a pet parent I understand it is hard to find someone who will give your pet everything you do and more. My job is to fill that void. I pride myself on keeping your dog safe and happy!

Feeding preferences. Crate trained or not. Friendliness toward other animals. House broken or any issues they have with the bathroom. Health concerns or medication. Are they a reactive animal? For overnight boardings or daycare: I assume your dog has all vaccinations, including kennel cough and are up to date on flea/tick treatment. Please take the precaution so that others do not end up with sick animals. Leo & Lilly are current with all mentioned and my home is sanitized often. Including shampooing the carpet and laying down natural flea/tick killer (including Peppermint and Cedar) as a precaution.
A typical day
I used to sit in the home, but without a fenced in yard at the moment I do not offer it. When I bring that service back I like to take walks, play indoors, and many toys & puzzle games to keep your pup mentally stimulated. Feeding is always done separately. I do not take the chance of our pets fighting over food. I also require our dogs to meet prior to the initial stay to make sure everyone gets along.

Availability
I work full-time as an accountant. My schedule is pretty flexible, but I try not to take too many lunch time walks. I am available if the random need arises, but not on a daily basis as my first priority during that time is work. Just as my priority would be to your pup during visits/walks.
