Hi there! I'm Kelsey, I’m a lifetime dog-lover who has experience caring for dogs of all ages. I have a pup of my own and the two of us are excited to spend time caring for and playing with yours! I love learning each dogs unique personality - it’s important to me that I interact with them in a way that makes them feel at ease and happy. Whether your dog loves to walk, run, sniff, swim, catch frisbees or some z's in the sun, I'm your dogs new best friend. I will take lots of photos and videos to share so you know your dog is happy, safe and well cared for.

See below/above review. This is for a one night stay that we used to trial a longer upcoming stay. Kelsey is responsive and caring and this stay put us at ease to go on a longer trip. We are repeat customers for a reason :-). Looking forward to having Kelsey hang with Basil many more times. Basil gets so excited every time she sees Kelsey.
Kelsey is flat-out wonderful! My wife and I were nervous about leaving Basil to go on a trip (Basil has become leash reactive), but Kelsey put us at ease from day 1. Kelsey took the time to come over to meet Basil and spend some time with her in advance, and Kelsey also spent another afternoon and overnight with Basil ahead of our longer trip. Kelsey is super responsive, capable, and caring -- she sent us pictures throughout the stay and she left our house in amazing shape. Will absolutely be using Kelsey again without hesitation.
Kelsey is kind and caring, has great energy, and a deep love for dogs. My pup Winston is obsessed with Kelsey and loves spending time with her indoors and on walks. I love how thoughtful and attentive she is and that I can rest assured my dog is in the most capable hands when he’s being cared for by Kelsey. She’s the perfect balance of playful, energetic, athletic, responsible, friendly, timely, smart, and kind for your furry fam.

I live close to several parks and walking trails as well as the beach. I’m in no rush while on a walk and happy to let the dog lead the way, sniffing along as they go - it's their time to enjoy! While I have experience with shy and/or reactive dogs, I am only currently able to watch dogs that do well with other pups as I have one of my own, who is very friendly and loves to play. That said, I recognize when a dog is saying they’re ready for a play break and have the tools to redirect them into another activity, and build rest time into the day.

Please let me know of any health concerns, ongoing areas of training, specific behaviors, or preferences I can accommodate. Please also let me know how your dog does with others as it’s important they’re well socialized and can share a living space with mine during their stay.
A typical day
A typical day with me involves three walks around the neighborhood ranging in 20-60 minutes - with at least one longer jaunt through volunteer park. Depending on the dogs interests, there’s opportunity for hikes and/or swimming. I also love playing games with dogs inside: tug, hide & seek, ‘find it’. I have plenty of kongs and treat-based toys and chews to provide stimulation during down time.

I work a standard 9-5 with wfh flexibility. I like to spend as much time outside as possible, and seek out natural landscapes in and out of the city where there’s plenty to sniff and explore. My schedule allows for walks, bathroom breaks and lots of playtime!
