Pet care experience
My name is Kelsey! I have a Bachelors degree in Animal Sciences, and I'm currently a graduate student studying marine biology at the College of Charleston looking to spend some time helping people out with their dog walking and pet sitting needs! I love dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. I have experience working in an animal hospital setting, so I can administer any necessary medications as well. My family also has a 7 year old three-legged Australian Shepherd, so I’m experienced in caring for pets that may need a little extra TLC. I am willing to come to your home when necessary, walk your dogs for however long you would like, and provide any amount of play time!

It’s important to know ahead of time how the dog walks on a leash (i.e., are they reactive to certain triggers?) If so, what are their triggers? How does your dog do around other dogs?
A typical day
I love taking dogs to local parks or walking paths, such as the West Ashley Bikeway or the James Island County Park. I will never take your pet anywhere without your permission first of course.

Availability
I am currently working my primary job during the week, but am available during lunch hours for drop-ins and/or walks! Due to my limited lunch-time availability, I can only accept lunchtime requests on James Island. I have full availability on Saturdays and Sundays.
