Pet care experience
I’ve always grown up with dogs in my family—we’ve had every size and age of dog from a senior mini Beagle to a 2-year-old Doberman Pinscher! As a kid, I was also essentially my neighborhood’s dog-sitter. When I was 10, I was able to teach our family Doberman how to sit, lay down, stay, and play dead. One day, I would love to be a certified dog trainer! Currently, I live with my boyfriend and my cat, Remy, who I’ve had since he was a tiny little kitten :)

Since I’ve grown up with pets all my life and currently have one of my own, I treat and take care of any animal as if they’re my own. I am very respectful of any dietary or disciplinary needs that the owner may desire for their pet. I am also very respectful of the animal’s needs, even beyond their hunger and relief cues. I will gladly play with any pet with the zoomies! I will also gladly respect if the pet doesn’t wish to be bothered at that time. I am very responsible and adaptable! :D

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, dietary plans, medications, etc. I’m also very interested in knowing any of your dog’s preferences on things! For instance: what their favorite toy is, do they prefer having the TV or music on while I’m there, etc. Any fun details that make your dog feel as comfortable and as loved as possible!
A typical day
I’m very adaptable, therefore I can be as active or low-key as your pet needs! I love going on walks, and I’m actually currently training for a 5K, so I’d be more than happy to take your dog on some easy runs as well! I love going for walks around Andersonville, and since I’m still new to Chicago, I’m always looking for new parks and places to visit! However, if your dog wants to spend the day indoors, cuddled up on the couch, I’ll never say no!

Availability
As my day-job, I work as a barista, therefore I’m usually working the mornings. I’m also an actor, and rehearsals are typically in the evenings if I’m in a project. So, even if I’m busy with a theatre project, I tend to have my afternoons completely free!
