I've been a dog owner for more years of my life than not. I have raised all of my own large breed dogs from puppies, they are the light of my life! I have always trained, groomed, and trimmed their nails myself. I also previously worked for a pet store for 6+years, where I received regular and adequate training in dog and cat behavior, safety, first aid, and general diet/nutrition requirements. I took this training very seriously. The knowledge I gained has still proven to be useful with my own dogs today. There's been too many times where I've had to worry about leaving the pups at home for too long without being checked on when work ran late. (You know that guilty feeling). I always wish I had someone reliable and trustworthy to drop in. But that's hard to find on short notice! I'd like to be that person for you. My current employment allows for a flexible schedule that I work from home so I am able to drop in and check on your pet on short notice. I also have a fully fenced yard, and a friendly, playful 1 year old puppy of my own that would love some playdates if you need daycare or a pet sitter. I treat my dog like she is my kid, (cause she is), and I would treat your pets the very same. I will follow any rules, guidelines/restrictions that you have in place in caring for your pet. After all, Mom and Dad know their pets the best! If you are in need of daycare, working remotely allows me to care for your pet in my own home. The fully fenced yard offers plenty of outside time. I also have a kiddie pool for those warm sunny days, and a sprinkler that my own dog loves to play in. My pup loves to be outside as much as I let her, but on those really hot days I am sure to limit the time outdoors to only 15min at a time with breaks inside the air-conditioned house with plenty of water. My dog has a very thick coat so I also utilize the hose to make sure she is never in danger of overheating. I will pay your dog the same attention for any of his or her needs, whether they are coming over for a play date or I am just dropping in.
