Hi there! I'm Kelsey, and I can't wait to be your pet's new best friend. Our pets are family, and they deserve a caretaker who is both knowledgeable and compassionate when you are away. I have had wonderful clients over the last several years in Texas, and I moved to the Vancouver area one year ago. My heart dog was a pitbull/cattle dog mix (🌈), and I’m currently mom to a lab mix, a Golden/border collie mix and two special needs cats. I’ve fostered around 100 animals in the last 14 years. So, I know every dog (and cat!) is unique with it's own unique needs. I have worked in animal welfare for the last decade, and I love that I can use my knowledge and training to provide the best care for pets when their owners are away. My animal experience comes from working in shelters, veterinary offices, barns and even internationally for my entire career. I'm trained in dog and cat behavior and body language and general animal wellness, and I am also a certified Fear-Free Handler. I can give injections, pills- whatever your pet needs if it has a medical need. I will not only befriend your pet, but I will be patient with him or her, passing along any insights I may gain during our time together and always keeping a watchful eye on them!
