Hello! My name is Kelsey and I am 25 years old. I have had animals since the first moment I can remember. From cats/dogs to rats to horses. I absolutely love being around animals and I truly believe that dogs are one of the few animals you can actually have an emotional connection with. I recently moved into a home where my roommate has a dog and I could not be more excited. I am comfortable around every breed or age of dog. I have even taken care of dogs with diapers and wounds who need multiple medications. I have full confidence your dog would be in the most friendly hands with my care. I would do my absolute best to make them feel as though you never left. I look forward to taking care of your furry little family member!

We couldn't have been more pleased with Kelsey's week-long stay at our home. Since both our cats are on special diets the feeding routine was a bit complex, but Kelsey took it in stride and kept both cats and our dog Cody happy and healthy! Our plants were watered, the house was spotless, and Kelsey kept us informed throughout the week on the status of our "babies". We would highly recommend Kelsey for any pet-sitting, and would not hesitate to use her services again. A overwhelming 5-star performance! Thank you!

All I really need to know is if they are timid/shy or very friendly. I don't want to scare a dog who is not used to new people so I would want to know if they would need to get to know me first. Also, I would of course need to know if there is any specific care that is needed (medications, food routine, potty routine, etc.). Other than that, I am comfortable with pretty much any situation and usually figure things out as I go.
A typical day
I always make sure to know any kind of special care (if needed) and have that list on hand at all times. I always let the dog feel me out and make sure they are comfortable around me. I never want to stress the dog out so I pretty much cater to them in a healthy manner. I typically try to keep to whatever routine they are used to so they don't feel like there is a stranger in the home, but someone they can trust.
