Pet care experience
Back in my hometown, most dogs are outside hunting dogs. It kills me to see them cooped up in cages, so from age 12 and on I've been visiting family and friend's dogs to let them out for their daily walk. We took in any strays that walked into our yard, and I helped feed and exercise them each day--our highest number was 12! Once I finally got my own dog, Jax in February of 2015, I realized how much I really loved working with man's best friend. I added Darwin (in my profile picture!) to my home in October, and have never been happier in my house full of fur babies! I can't wait to meet your puppies to walk, run, tumble, and roll around in my big backyard, or yours! For the dainty lap dogs out there--I would love a break to sit on the couch with you for some quality time in between!

Kelsey has cared for my pups from the first day I brought mine home! As a teacher and dance studio manager, I spend between 8-14 hours away from my fur babies. Kelsey feeds them, exercises them, and gives them the love those spoiled boys need! When my older dog needed ear drops, she even took care of the cleanings! I am so grateful to have her help in raising two big fur balls!
Kelsey is great with pets and people. She's very dependable, hard working and strong enough to handle even big dogs. She can be firm but is not mean or angry. She has an endless supply of energy, and is not one to sit and do nothing. She comes from a hard-working family, so she has a good work ethic, and she just graduated from college, so she can see something through until it's done. She has a twinkle in her eye, and a great smile, and is easy to laugh and make others feel at home. If a beloved pet doesn't like all that, I don't know what they would like! She's my daughter's best friend, but that wouldn't make me give you a glowing reference without cause. I'm signing my name, and I wouldn't do that unless I told the absolute truth. Hire her--you won't be sorry.

We love all breeds at my house! The biggest thing I need to know are about your dog's habits and temperament. I want to set your dog up for a successful time, and to meet him or her where they are already at is the best way to do so! Before overnight visits, please let me know what kind of sleeping arrangements they are used to...i.e. on the couch, in the bed, in a crate, near other dogs, etc.
A typical day
I currently live in a neighborhood with a community park area in the middle, so a great long walk includes a trip through there and around the rest of the neighborhood. I LOVE tug-of-war (lots of experience with my playful pup!), running around, and tons of cuddles.
