Paw-some Pet Nanny

Pet care experience

Growing up, I had the nickname as an animal magnet as I always had over seven pets in the house and I love taking care of them! Now I have one cat named Salvador Dali. I also live with two roommates and they have two cats as well. Animals bring joy to my life and I want to return the favor by making them happy as well as their owners. I provide complimentary meet and greet before your booking to become acquainted with you and your pets and to determine that I am the right fit as your Rover sitter. Note: I am Deaf but that is never a barrier to me when it comes to taking care of animals or communicating with their owners! Dogs and cats are my speciality but I am also familiar with bird, reptiles, rodents, and other animals. I have experiences with training puppies, taking care of senior pets and pets with special needs (post-surgical recovery, chronic illnesses, etc), and administering medicines orally and via injections (in dogs, cats, ferrets, and rats). If you have any questions, please do not hesistate to contact me!

Kelsey is always AMAZING and continues to go above and beyond whenever she stays with our Labradoodle. She's our hands-down favorite pet sitter and is great at communicating with us and making us feel confident that our fur baby is being lovingly taken care of. Thanks Kelsey!

Kelsey is truly amazing! I'm pretty sure our dog can't wait for us to go on vacation again so she can get more time with her. Kelsey is EXCELLENT at communicating and kept us in the loop throughout her stay. She stayed at our home while watching our dog and made sure the house was picked up and clean for when we got home. We have never felt more comfortable leaving our dog with anyone who wasn't family. Kelsey is honest, trustworthy, and LOVES our dog like we do (as another member of the family). We have already booked her for our next trip. Thanks for taking such amazing care of Sadie!!!

Kelsey was great, she was able to walk our dogs each morning while we were away. We really enjoyed all the pictures and the daily updates she provided.

Kelsey was our fist experience with Rover. She went above and beyond care for our dog and house sitting. She was reliable, kind, organized and very easy to trust. She kept us updated through texts and pictures, letting us know how things were going while we were away. Leaving us to enjoy our vacation with no worries. Give her a try, I’m sure you’ll appreciate her as much as we did. Dave and Pam

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fenced yard and my house has space for animals to play and lounge at. Pets are permitted to be on furniture although I prefer for them to have their own beds and or mats to sit on. My two cats are indoor cats and I have chickens who roam freely in the backyard.

Information Kelsey G. would like to know about your pet

To provide the best care possible, it is important for me to be aware of your pets' special needs, such as dietary restrictions or behavioral concerns. Do let me know your pets' allergies (food/environmental), toy or treat restrictions, history of destructive behavior, history of reactivity (barking, lunging on leash, guarding food or toys, wetting bed or marking in the house), and history of separation anxiety. The more you are able to inform me about your pets, the better I can accommodate and provide excellent service. I do not have any breed, age, or gender preferences as I love any kind of dogs--and any kind of pets, even tarantulas!

A typical day

Dog-walking: I love going for walks around in the neighborhood, to the parks, and anywhere else the owner wishes me to take their furbabies to. I can walk up to 3 times a day, depending on the dogs' energy level and stamina. House-sitting/drop-in visits: I love to play with dogs and cats (and any other pets) and provide the best quality care as possible. I make sure their water bowls are clean and filled with fresh water, their potty breaks are relieved, their feeding schedule in compliance, and anything else is necessary--such as medicines. I also can bring in the mail, water your plants, and any other small favors as well. I send clients updates with photos frequently! Doggy Daycare: This service provides care of your dog at my residence during the daytime (no overnight visits) and the care will be accommodated to each pet’s needs. Although Rover states this service is to be located at my residence, I also do offer to Have this service available at your residence as some dogs are better off staying at their homes. If the care is needed for more than 8 hours, the service will be charged as boarding or house sitting. Boarding: ***ON HOLD*** I have recently moved into a new house and I am still settling down. This service is currently on hold until further notice. Overall, my style of care is accommodating as each pet is unique in theirown ways. Some pets have high energy level and need longer walks while others prefer to cuddle and sleep all day--both work for me! I send my clients updates with text messages and photos so they can know how their furbabies are doing.
