In addition to the multitude of animals I have cared for through Trusted Housesitters over the last year and a half, I've have grown up around dogs and cats my whole life (4 labradors and 1 cat - our current 1-year-old Labrador puppies (Sierra and Bentley), my family's Labrador (who passed last year at age 13), my neighbor's Labrador Mix (5 years old), and my friend's puppy (1 year). Some special skills I have from taking care of my 13-year-old lab, Nancy, include administering insulin, tracking blood sugar levels, and maintaining a healthy diet in response to her blood sugar. I'm very comfortable with multiple dogs and multiple levels of energy. For over 7 years I had two labradors, Nancy (the same Nancy as the one I currently take care of) - age 6mo - 7 yrs and Copper - age 7yrs - 14yrs. And after the last year of taking care of two puppies at the same time, there is very little you could say or ask for that would shock me whatsoever. We have also had Sherlock (the cat) since he was a kitten so I have experience with all things cat related, including a myriad of medical conditions (expressing cysts, administering medication, etc.).
