Pet care experience
I recently completed my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program at the University of Alberta. I am currently studying for my licensing exam in December 2023 and am working retail part-time on the side. After successfully obtaining my license, I will begin working as a pediatric occupational therapist! I have been pet sitting for many years now and love caring for your pets, given I do not have my own at this time (yet 😊). I am a go-to sitter for close friends’ and family members’ animals when they need help. In my spare time, when I'm not working or taking care of your pet, I am an avid curler, backcountry hiker, biker, and cross-stitcher. I love the outdoors and am not scared of caring for your animal in the rain, snow, or wind (although sun is great, too)!

Kelsey was amazing - flexible, easy to work with, great sense of humour, and went over and above keeping us posted about our kitties while we were away. She even made sure that our skittish one got her meds, which we extra appreciated! It took a load off of our mind, knowing that our cats were well taken care of in our own home. We would definitely recommend Kelsey to any other pet owner!
Kelsey is amazing and I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a dog / house sitter. She was comfortable with our senior dog (who can sometimes be difficult) and sent us numerous updates to put our minds at ease. She was also very confident in using the technology in our smart home and I never had to worry about any alarms going off, etc. Will most certainly look to request Kelsey's dog / house sitting services for any future trips our family takes!

Kelsey was a fantastic day sitter for my husband and I’s 1.5 year old vizsla. She was on time, communicative, and totally at ease with him; he can be a handful so it was great to leave him with someone I felt comfortable would give him enough exercise and attention. He was sad to see her go!

I love to be active with dogs through regular walks and playing their favourite games, whether that’s fetch, tug-a-war, or soccer. I adapt the activity to the level your dog is at.
