Pet care experience
Hi there! I'm that girl that says "Hello Pupper!" to every passing dog and have no shame in it. I have over 15+ years of experience tending to dogs, cats and horses. Friends and family have counted on me to go above and beyond while caring for their beloved pets when they are working or were unable to travel with them. Duties included dog walking, potty breaks, play time, feedings, overnight stays and of course my favorite, lots of cuddles and attention! I am fun, positive and responsible all making for a great match to take care of your pet while you are busy at work. My personal fur family includes a 12 year old yellow lab, Sadie, and my newest addition of my 3 year old golden, Skye. I raised both since they were puppies and I have experience handling multiple dogs at once while making sure each feels equally loved and cared for. I have experience giving oral meds to dogs and cats as well as some experience with shots. In addition to my two dogs, I also have a set of sibling cats that I rescued after they were abandoned by the river that I have raised since kittens. I wouldn't be able to imagine my world without any of my animals.

Kelsey was the best dog walker i could have asked for! Dogs always seemed happier and more relaxed after their time with Kelsey which made my work day smoother, knowing they were being taken care of by someone who cared.
Kelsey was easy to work with and understanding when traveling out of town became complicated and I had to be away from my pup more then intended! For walking services, I would like to know if your dog has a regular route/path that they walk on so they feel more relaxed and comfortable in an area they are familiar with. I believe an open line of communication is crucial and follow all given instructions regarding preferences to pet care with great percision. I can assure you that I will work my best to accommodate both of your needs! For safety and trust reasons: In regard to both drop-in and walking services, I require an in-person meet and greet with your pet to determine you both feel comfortable working with me and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause when booking services.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or if there is anything I should be aware of including fears and quirks. Please let me know if your dog has a disability or behavioral issue and how I could assist them better. I have a dog that struggles with anxiety so I am no stranger to intimidating or complicated dogs. I take a positive reinforcement approach to interactions and watch the dog for cues of discomfort or anxiety. I can assure you that your pet will be cared for as if they are a member of my own pack. I understand each dog is unique and want to give them the best attention while they are in my care.
A typical day
For future boarding services: A typical day spent with my dogs include hikes/walks depending on physical stimulation need of the breed. If comfortable/preferable, the dog park provides an excellent location to play with other dogs in an enclosed setting. My senior dog enjoys shorter walks both by and in the water or in town, while my golden enjoys the longer hikes on the various trails around Loudoun Co and Harpers Ferry. After our walks or hikes, they get treats and a relaxing evening watching the sunset over the lake on our deck before being tucked into their respective dog beds. If this sounds like a day your dog would enjoy, please don't hesitate to reach out! If you prefer we do other activities, I am open to suggestions!

Availability
My schedule is currently free every day of the work week M-F to walk your dog or provide drop-in visits so that you can put your mind at ease knowing your pet is in good hands and their needs are being taken care of. An ideal client is located in Harpers Ferry, Charles Town, Shepherdstown, Lovettsville, Waterford, Hamilton, Purcellville, and Round Hill.
