Hello! I would be happy to take your South Hill based dog for a 30 or 60 minute walk any day Monday-Friday! I am a fit person who has worked with dogs of all ages and demeanors, but due to my petite stature I prefer to walk dogs who weigh 45 lbs or less. I am excited to know your dog’s personality, energy level, and anything else I need to be aware of to give them a great walk! Regarding boarding requests — thank you so much for considering us to host your fur-child. With the utmost respect and gratitude for your consideration, we kindly ask you to bear in mind that senior or low key, chill dogs of any age will be the best fit for our household / own senior dogs. We look forward to loving and caring for your pooch as our own! We were inspired to become Rover sitters because we are anxious pet parents ourselves (ok, mostly Kelsey, haha!) and wanted to create an environment where people could feel comfortable and confident leaving their own fur-babies when they go away. We are a married couple who both grew up with dogs throughout our entire lives. We are confident that your dog will feel at home in our home! We live in the South Hill neighborhood of Spokane and have a backyard and sidewalks for all kinds of exercise and walks. Shadow and Ruby are seniors and can be crotchety; if your dog is small and calm (and loves to sleep!) he or she will be a great energy match them. We will do a meet-and-greet beforehand to confirm. Given Shadow’s affinity for napping we have lots of cozy places throughout our home where your dog can snuggle up :) we also have lots of squeaky toys because Ruby is quite fond of those! Your dog will be walked ~3 times daily: we do at least one 30-45+ minute walk with Ruby daily, plus a couple shorter ones. We can feed your pup on whatever schedule you prefer. We can also administer any oral medications he or she takes. We will love on your beloved pup the entire visit and send lots of photo updates to ease your mind while you are away! We both work from home and have flexible schedules. Our dogs get at least 4 bathroom breaks daily and Ruby gets at least one 30-45+ minute walk, which your dog could join! Creating a safe environment for our pets is a top priority. We keep our home secure and keep our dogs leashed on walks at all times.
