Pet care experience
I am a huge animal lover (of all different types)! My neighbors, coworkers, and friends trust and rely on me to walk and care for their fur babies (including house sitting on numerous occasions). I treat others’ pets as I treat my own pup, Shiloh (who is currently with my dad) ~ like kings and queens ~ I am super energetic and fun and would love to take your pet around Navy Yard.

Kelsey was the best dog sitter! She kept us updated with frequent photos throughout the weekend and took our dog Poppy on some fun adventures. I could tell when I picked Poppy up that she felt very comfortable. Looking forward to having Kelsey dogsit again in the future!
Kelsey was wonderful and I our dogs loved her. She was flexible in our meet and greet, communicative all weekend while we were out of town, and treated our dogs and home like her own. Thank you so much!!

I live in a one bedroom apartment in Navy Yard. My apartment complex has a dog park for convenience, however Navy Yard is a super walkable area and I’d love to take your pup for a walk several times a day and even a pup cup at Compass coffee! Your animals would be allowed on the furniture and I would be home so your animal would not be alone. If your animal is still a baby/puppy, I’d ask that you bring a crate or playpen just in case I do need to run out.

A typical day
I would love to take your dog on a walk down by the waterfront, the Capitol, over the Frederick Douglas bridge, or to Congressional cemetery! Every long walk needs fuel so we’ll stop and get pup cups at Compass or Starbucks on the way!

Availability
I’m currently working in the office two days a week (Mondays and Wednesdays). I am available every other day of the week to pet sit or walk/feed your fur babies, and am also open to boarding on the weekends! I’m also open to boarding during the week with the caveat that I have to work in office on Monday/Wednesday.
