Pet care experience
I am a teacher who is home for the summer and eager to host some pets! I have a 2-year-old golden retriever named Daisy, as well as a 6-year-old cat named Mike. I grew up with dogs and cats my entire life, training all of them, as well as dog-sitting and walking dogs for countless friends and coworkers. I believe that humans are truly lucky to live in a world with dogs, and that with the right training and a lot of love (and treats!), any dog is a good dog, no matter how old, young, big, small, drooly, or energetic. I have a huge fenced-in backyard, and live minutes away from Arlington’s largest dog park in Shirlington. I am the go-to-gal for any dog sitting/ dog walking needs!

Kelsey did a great job with my 3 yr old Shih Tzu mix Charlie! He seemed to get along with her dog very well and seemed very happy and content when I picked him up. I would highly recommend Kelsey!

Kelsey is AMAZING! I don’t think I’ll ever be able to put into words how much of a help and how great to work with Kelsey was! We left our 6 month old puppy with her for a few days of daycare and then a night of boarding, and my puppy had a blast. Our Dolley was used to being home with me during the day (I WFH), so I was happy that she was in good hands to deal with any potential separation anxiety. Kelsey was easy to work with, kept in contact, and you could just tell that she had a comfort/knowledge of dealing with dogs. Would recommend and will definitely book with her again!
Kelsey did an amazing job with Mason over the July 4th holiday, making sure that Mason was comfortable with some unexpectedly loud noises and let him borrow a Thundershirt! Mason was made to felt immediately welcome by Daisy and Mike (fur family) and came home happy and tired.

I live in a quiet neighborhood that is within walking distance of many dog-friendly areas. In addition to my fenced-in backyard, there are parks and schools and fields and dog parks aplenty, depending on your dog's preferences/age. I can play fetch, run, walk, train, socialize, love, and basically do anything to make sure you come home to a happy pup. A tired dog is a good dog!
