I've had my own dogs for 9 years and have been involved in taking care of dogs other than my own for the last 3 years. I am well versed in dog behavior, having training certifications, have fostered many dogs and am experienced with reactive, fearful and generally "higher needs" dogs. Additionally of my personal dogs are HIGH energy (an adult mixed breed rescue and German Shorthair Pointer puppy) so our household is pretty active!

Kelsea is amazing. We have an anxious pup, Kelsea is so great at reading her cues to make sure she is comfortable and doesn't push her into interactions/situations she isn't ready for. Kelsea has phenomenal communication skills. We adore receiving photos of our pup's stay and seeing her interact with the enrichment activities offered. Kelsea is an absolute gem and we are so grateful for her & her services.
If you are looking for someone to leave your pup with, look no further than Kelsea. I was very nervous about leaving Otis with someone for two full weeks. At our meet and greet, I could tell that Kelsea understood dogs and would be a great fit for my high-energy pup. While away, Kelsea kept me updated with pictures and videos of the numerous activities that she did with him. He had a great time! I will not hesitate to schedule Kelsea to watch Otis again!
Kelsea is the best! We were so worried about leaving our Gabby with anyone but that changed the minute the pictures started coming in. We feel like we have a new little girl in our home. It’s obvious that Kelsea work with our pup to gain confidence in herself. We absolutely recommend Kelsea

I have a large fenced in yard with a smaller enclosed area for small dogs and puppies, a covered porch for rainy day play and a variety of crate styles for when I'm not home - your dog will never be left unsupervised in the house! I use baby gates to make sure everyone gets the space they need and a guest room that can be used for dogs who are barrier reactive.

A typical day
I structure each day to include physical exercise, play, mental stimulation and training activities designed to make their time at my house successful for everyone! During our first meet and greet I like to learn as much as I can about your dog and their behaviors so we can make a plan for their first visit.

My out of the home work schedule is coordinated around the needs of the dogs in my care and I'm rarely gone more than 4 hours a time.
