My name is Kelly and I am a part-time student, full-time dog lover! I have grown up with dogs, volunteering at the local Humane Society and now have a 1.5 year old, 16 lb poodle mix named Tate. My boyfriend and I live in a small house overlooking the Hudson River and the Old Croton Aqueduct walking trail. We have a big yard (with a mulched “potty” area) where Tate loves to play with her friends. We are a young, active household of dog-lovers & we visit either an off-leash dog park, a hiking trail or a dog beach at least once every day. I know Canine CPR and First-Aid and am always available by phone/text/email. In addition to my Rover listings, I make fresh dog treats using human-grade ingredients like carrots, apples, oats and peanut butter and sew handmade monogrammed bandanas.

Kelly was fabulous! We can tell that she gave our Millie lots of love... and Millie's love for Kelly was also evident when we picked our furbaby up. Kelly's puppy was a perfect match, and Millie had just so much fun playing (and cuddling) with Tate. We really appreciated the adorable pictures and updates from Kelly. She was also super accomodating and flexible in terms of pickup and dropoff logistics. We would definitely use Kelly again.
Kelly was great. Very communicative, and easy to work with. When we came to pick Pete up he couldn't have looked happier!

Kelly took excellent care of my two ladies. A little bit of background on my girls: Peanut is an older miniature dachshund (14 yrs.) who can be a bit cantankerous, and her younger sister, Blanche (1.5yrs) is a mixed breed rescue dog who is shy. On the rare time that I have had to leave the ladies at the kennel Blanche and Peanut return underweight and unhappy, I think that they just miss the family so much that they don't eat. After staying with Kelly, the ladies were well fed and happy. In short, no worries when leaving your loved ones with Kelly, and I will not hesitate to call upon Kelly in the future to care for Blanche and Peanut.
