So many pups come into our lives from shelters or pounds, and may have suffered physical or emotional trauma before finding you... or frankly, they're just a little..."off." I get that. I have cared for animals my entire life, and have rescued, fostered, trained and adopted many dogs over the years, often tending to and healing wounds on the inside. Owners of pets with special needs are true heroes who often cannot or will not leave their pets, even for short periods, because of fear of the stress it may cause. Fear no more. I am cat/dog first aid and CPR trained; (and of course, human too!) I am also a nurse and teacher... skills that serve me with all living things. I volunteer at our local dog pound and work with private rescues, as well as advocate against animal abuse and breed banning. Every dog should have a buddy that's there for them when their human can't be. I look forward to being that for yours.
