Pet care experience
I have years of experience with puppies, adult dogs and elderly dogs. Mellow and easy going or particular, picky, fussy dogs, and everything in between! I have had dogs most of my life and I love being in their company and find them easy to care for no matter the circumstance. I can easily follow whatever specific instructions you may have for your beloved pooch to make sure he or she is as comfortable and cared for as possible. I haven’t had my own dog for a little while know but I am the go-to friend for taking care of dogs for friends who go out of town. I’ve done as little as stopping at home for visits, feeding and a walk, to as much as housing a dog for 10 days who needed twice daily medication.

I would follow whatever normal routines the dog has for feeding time as well as taking walks places that are familiar for the dog to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible and kept in the normal routine they have with their parents. If there is a situation where we agree to have the dog stay with me, I have about a 1000 square foot place with a porch, but no yard. My complex is very dog friendly with several designated grass patches within the community for the dogs as well as walking paths near the neighborhood.

A typical day
Depending on the dogs needs, we can either take a short walk in my apartment complex, or go somewhere nearby for a longer walk or jog to help burn some energy off and find some new smells! If there’s any training or tricks the owners like to keep up with, I’d love to incorporate those for fun stimulating activities for the dog.

I currently work for myself and my business has slowed down quite a bit. Because of that, I have a lot of extra free time during the week during traditional work hours where I’d love to make additional use of my time doing something I enjoy!
