We have a fully fenced 1/4 acre backyard, with plenty of bushes and trees. There are lots of squirrels and birds to bark at. Our dogs have morning outside time for an hour or so, then breakfast and nap time. More play in the afternoon and evening. The dogs enjoy frozen vegetable treats and lots of snuggle time. They love having small playmates and relish chasing squirrels as a group. We are a doxie-savvy household and understand how to live with this challenging and super-fun breed. I work from home and can adjust my work schedule based on the daily activity requirements of the dogs. Due to recently adopting a third dog, at this time, I can only watch single dogs.
