Pet care experience
An owner of my own rescue dog I have experience with house breaking, frequent walks, pups big and small, park dates, managing multiple dogs and of course solid play time. I have walked everything from a mini-dachshund, a temperamental pit mix to a large German Shepard - they were all wonderful in their own ways! I think having a great understanding of what makes each pup special and how to give individual attention to what makes their best walk, best visit or best playdate. I live across the street from a pet store should you need any quick pet-centric errands done while I am walking/sitting and also bake my own organic dog treats should your pup need a snack :) Happy to help and promise they will feel right at home no matter if they are at yours or if they are here at my apartment. Lastly, I love to send updates so you know what your pup is up to during the day, walk or stay. If you'd like I usually leave a journal with a little note of how the walk or visit went and am happy to always send text updates, photos or videos for updates as well.

Kelly is an amazing dog owner to her Lab Beagle mix Lola for five years and has also been a loving, responsible dog caregiver for family and friends. She treats every dog as if she is their personal owner which means she gives them her absolute love and attention. She has walked and cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds. If you want someone who will make your dog feel as if their owner has never left then Kelly is the person. She is the best!

No breed preference all are welcome! Even feisty pups. It is just always helpful to know going into a dog/walker relationship things like temperament, special care needs, any triggers, things they love etc. - so we can hit the ground running. For example, I cared for a pit bull who required a choke collar and was wonderful with people, but tense around other dogs. We had a great time for the 3 days we stayed together and a bunch of successful walks. Additionally, my friends dog who I have cared for is the German Shepard mentioned above. He is huge/requires a muzzle for safety but we have always had a great dog sitter relationship and work together on walks. I think there is a skill to management and making sure the dog has fun - big or small I can handle it!
A typical day
Walks can take place either at the dog park by my apartment, on the sidewalks of course or even up to central park. The dog park by me also has a pool for warm weather.
