I have always been a lover of all animals. I grew up in a home where my mother fostered cats & kittens, so I guess you can say it runs in the family! Friends, family, and co-workers would always ask me to help care for their animals, and of course the answer was YES! I have 4+ years of experience loving and caring for all types of animals. Whether it be dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, or guniea pigs, I have cared for them all! I do not have much experience when it comes to farm animals, but if your willing to teach me, I am willing to learn! I recently graduated college in May of 2017, and not to shortly after my husband was stationed at Fort Carson here in Colorado Springs. Caring for your dogs is my FULL-TIME job. I am home most, if not all of the day. If I do step out, it is always for no longer then 3 hours. Before leaving, I always play, run, and love on your pup(s) that way they have a nice long nap! I can offer constant care, as well as potty breaks every 0-2 hours. I do have experience administering oral medication, but I have yet to get a requisition to administer injectable medication. I am will to learn and expand my knowledge, if you are willing to show me. My husband and I do not have any children, but we do have a 4-legged fur-baby! His name is Jack. He is a 2 year old German Shepherd/Lab mix. We rescued him back in May 2017, and he has only brought laughter into our everyday lives! I could not imagine not having him! Jack does get along with other dogs VERY well, BUT he can be an aggressive player at times. If that is something that will cause a problem, please let me know at the time of booking so I can plan accordingly. Although it is only my name on the Rover profile, my husband, Antonio helps significantly with caring for your pup(s). For example, when he wakes up in the morning, he will let them out for morning potty breaks, and he will also help feed and care for them.Therefore if we schedule a meet n'greet he is usually there (if in my home), or I would like him to be there (if somewhere else) as well. I DO NOT have any breed restrictions, nor do I have any weight restrictions. I love big dogs & small dogs! All that I ask is that you let me know ahead of time if your dog exhibits any sort of aggression on other dogs AND people. When booking, there is not much that you will need to provide for your fur-baby! All I ask is that you send them with their leash & collar & enough food to last their stay. I have an abundance of toys, treats, dog bowls, and comfortable beds! If your dog is crate trained, I do have a very large crate (big enough for a St. Bernard) so there is no need for you to go through the trouble of bringing one.
