Pet care experience
I am a college student at WSU and was majoring in Animal Sciences for the first 2 years. I have been involved in the Guide Dogs for the Blind club for 2 years learning how to train, read behavior and gain hands-on experience with the puppies in the club. I've dog sat for many different family's animals of various sizes for over 5 years and some with 3 dogs at a time. I can bathe and brush your animal if needed and I enjoy going on long walks and playing with them to ensure mental stimulation for a healthy and happy dog! I also have experience with cats - reading their behavior, trimming nails and administering oral medication. I have lived with cats throughout my entire lifetime but there will not be any cats or any other animals in my home.

Kelly is by far the best walker/caregiver that we've ever experienced! From the first day, she has gone above and beyond all expectations and I cannot recommend her more highly. She has become a family friend and it would be an immense challenge to ever find some better at what she does. She is professional, kind, caring, and fantastic at communicating everything from updates, concerns, and suggestions. Bottom line: she is everything you could ever ask for and much, much more!
Kelly did great with my pup. She sent me photos and checked in regularly so I knew my girl was doing well while i was out of town. She was very thorough with questions when we did the meet and greet which set her up for success. Very happy with the experience. Highly recommend hiring her to watch your fur babies.
Kelly is GREAT! My fur babies love her! She’s very responsive and always in constant contact when my fur babies are with her! I truly enjoy all the updates, including pictures- which also puts me at ease! Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for services!
Kelly watched my two pups over Thanksgiving and was amazing! She sent me updates and was extremely thorough in the meet and greet. Forrest and Jenny loved all the cuddles they got, but also enjoyed playing and going on walks with her! Kelly was also very adamant on trying to stick to Forrest and Jenny’s routine as much as possible for their comfort. I’ve never boarded my dogs due to their anxiety (and mine), so Kelly house sitting and being so willing to keep to their routine was a relief. I’ll definitely be using her in the future and trust her to care for Forrest & Jenny :)

It is important for me to know your dog's daily routine for eating, sleeping and walking. It is very helpful for me to know the energy level of your pet as well as specific commands they know. It is also helpful to know how your dog interacts with other dogs when walking in a neighborhood or at a dog park to ensure the safety of both yours and other's dogs.
A typical day
There are plenty of public parks that are dog friendly in the Puyallup area like Bradley Lake Park and other dog parks in local neighborhoods that have open spaces for them to run!

I do not have another job I tend to but I'm currently doing online school for this school year so I am very openly available during all times of the day at any day of the week. I am very flexible during the weekdays if need a last minute request, but weekends and holidays may be an exception to this.
